He has traveled the world and has worked with the likes of Michael Jackson, Diana Ross, Sisqo, Will Smith, Dr. Dre, Brandy, Monica, Tyrese, Toni Braxton, and more. He has been dancing for audiences since he was a young child.
Ronnie is also an actor and has appeared on TV shows like “LA Heat” and films like “Strange Days”. As a young child, he would study videos of artists who were inspirations to him like, Michael Jackson, Gregory Hines, Fred Astaire, Gene Kelly, and many others. By the time he was thirteen, he was training in all the classics of dance at a local dance studio in Washington D.C., the Davis Center. This is where Ronnie was first introduced to the classics and that prepared him for attendance at the prestigious Duke Ellington High School of the Arts in Washington DC. This is where he was fortunate to meet his two mentors, Mike Malone (a well-known dancer, choreographer, director & Co-founder of the school) and Lloyd Whitmore (his modern dance teacher), helped to nurture his talents tremendously.
When the prestigious Alvin Ailey Dance Academy came to his high school and auditioned him, he was offered a full scholarship by no other than Denise Jefferson and there he vastly strengthened his classical technique. During his second year there, Ronnie was inspired to start auditioning and landed his first international Tour with “The Weather Girls” at the age of 19. Once he returned from overseas, he was asked by his mentor Mike Malone to star in his well-known production of Black Nativity as Joseph. After two successful jobs done and under his belt, Ronnie felt more confident and ready than ever before. He was ready to move to Los Angeles and pursue his dream of working as a commercial dancer/choreographer, where he would have the
opportunity to work in movies, TV & with recording artists, tours, and music videos.
Ronnie toured with Michael Jackson in 1999 on the “MJ & Friends tour”. He choreographed Sisqo’s “Thong Song” album served as dance captain on Diana Ross’ “Take Me Higher” tour from 1995-2000 and has even been a dance coach to artists like Tyrese, actress Gloria Ruben, & model K. D. Aubert.
